A-Ret Gel is a topical retinoid prescribed for:
- Treatment of acne vulgaris
- Improvement of sun-damaged skin
- Reduction of fine wrinkles and rough skin texture
- Management of acute promyelocytic leukemia (systemic use)
Application Instructions
- Apply once daily at bedtime
- Use on clean, dry skin
- Avoid eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
- Wash hands before/after application
- Initial worsening may occur (4-8 weeks)
- Visible results typically appear after 8-12 weeks
Important Precautions
- Pregnancy: Requires medical consultation
- Breastfeeding: Discuss with doctor
- Children: Not recommended under 18 years
- Sun exposure: Increases photosensitivity
- Avoid on:
- Eczematous skin
- Sunburned areas
- Open wounds
